The discovery was made when we were researching different applications for Volcanic Rock as a soil amendment for the agricultural industry and came across Howard Garrett the Dirt Doctor in Dallas Texas. He told me that if your product is going to work in Ag it must have "Paramagnetic's." Para what? Was my reply. He began to explain what it was and how it works. So then we tested Cinderite for the Paramagnetic (CGS) levels and discovered the highest levels that we had seen in a non-Basalt base rock. At this time we knew we had something very special and brought the product to market. Residental and commercial growers and farmers began to use Cinderite with great success.
With additional soil testing, Cinderite qualified to become certified Organic as an OMRI listed product.
